Here you’ll learn magic, meet fellow students, and uncover secrets that threaten the very foundation of the academy. This is going to be a weird compliment but I assure you it’s the highest praise I can give.
HuniePop, for all of its everything, was one of the best Match 3 games I’ve ever played, and for years I’ve waited for a game that’s just like it but not embarrassing to come up on my Your Friends Are Playing list.
And my wish appears to have been granted!!
…I like the colorful characters and I appreciate that it’s full of That Gay Sh*t ™️.

I really enjoyed this demo. The characters are magical and interesting to meet and learning spells by playing match-3 is fun. Some opponents are pretty tough as they have some very overpowered buffs. So the game does pose a variety of challenges.

The blend of match-3 with a visual novel is a great pairing. It brings something fresh to the genre. I highly recommend checking out this demo. 💖

This is fantastic so far. I think the art is absolutely stunning. The character designs, I am in love. Clearly I am very in love with Miko, she is gorgeous. I love the characters, I think they have fun personalities… I think the music is beautiful… I’m loving the game—it was way spicier on the dialogue, but well-written.

I like all the characters so far… it looks like there’s a good underlying plot, with dangerous and life-threatening stuff… we’ve got a good mix and match of platonic, romantic, and sexual stuff… The art is gorgeous.

I’m not gonna lie to you, I’m kind of like, obsessed with the game. I think it’s amazing. I think the story is really cool—I know a bit about it since I’ve played a bunch—and I really enjoyed a lot of the character arcs, there’s so many other characters that y’all haven’t seen.

The dialogue writing is flavorful, and the character development is quite good. I was able to gradually pick up on the idiosyncrasies of the characters, each feeling distinct from the others. And as my player character’s relationships with them evolved, it really drew me in and made me want to learn more about them!

Match 3 spell casting mechanics are straightforward and satisfying. Cute gems and effects, interesting mechanic with collecting pure mana for casting cantrips. Really liked discovering what each character’s special thing was for spellcasting, and thinking how to optimize spells and abilities for that.
